About Tyler
Hello, my name is Tyler Gouveia and I am running for Alderman At-Large in the City of Nashua.
I’m currently serving my second term as Ward 1 Alderman. I serve as Vice-Chair of the Planning and Economic Development Committee, Clerk of the Finance Committee, and Clerk of the Pennichuck Water Special Committee. I also served on the Ad Hoc Joint Mayoral–Board of Aldermen Committee on Capital Expenditures & Debt Service Plan during its tenure.
I was born and raised in Nashua and graduated from Nashua High School South before earning my Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Master's Degree in Communications from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
Since a young age, entrepreneurship has been in my blood. I opened Granite State Strategy LLC, a small business that provides marketing and public relations support to small businesses and non-profits across Nashua and New England.
I currently serve as the Director of Government and Political Affairs for the Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire, where I advocate on behalf of fire fighters at the State House. I work every day to ensure that those who keep our communities safe have a strong voice in Concord and the tools they need to do their jobs effectively.
